Your systematic review can start with a field that interests you.

Tell us what you would like to study. We help you frame the question, check what has already been published and assess whether a systematic review makes sense, with or without a meta-analysis.

From study selection to the effect estimate

Follow the cardiology question from the protocol. These fictional data illustrate the method and do not represent clinical findings.

How we work

Six stages, with shared decisions

The final scope comes from human review of the topic, probable evidence volume and project complexity.

01

Question and protocol

We propose a question and draft the protocol. Authors define the population, comparison and outcomes before the search.

02

Search

We prepare database-specific strategies. Authors review terms and sources; we record each search and its date.

03

Selection

We apply the agreed criteria. Reviewers and authors resolve disagreements and record reasons for full-text exclusions.

04

Extraction and bias

We prepare the extraction form. Authors check outcomes, differences between studies and risk-of-bias judgments.

05

Synthesis

We assess whether pooling is appropriate. Authors interpret the findings, including when only a descriptive synthesis is justified.

06

Manuscript and submission

We prepare tables, figures and the reporting checklist. Authors review the manuscript, choose the journal and authorize submission.

The author remains central

We execute with you, not in your place

You take part in the decisions that define the work and approve critical milestones. We organize and execute the contracted pathway; authorship requires intellectual contribution, review and human accountability.

Shared decisions04
  1. 01Approve the question and protocol
  2. 02Validate critical decisions and interpretations
  3. 03Review and approve the manuscript
  4. 04Authorize the submission strategy

Academic integrity

Clear limits. Science comes first.

Pub2me provides scientific and methodological support. We do not offer unearned authorship, conduct clinical research with participants or manipulate results. Researchers take part in decisions, interpret findings, approve the manuscript and take responsibility for the work they sign.

How we choose a journal

We compare editorial scope, readership and accepted article types with the review question and design. Authors consider the options and choose where to submit. The journal decides whether to accept the paper.

An honest scope

Pricing follows assessment

We do not publish a fixed price because effort depends on volume and complexity. Initial screening is free; a proposal is prepared only after human review.

Contracted delivery can be committed to; publication, editorial acceptance or suitability for meta-analysis cannot.
01—05

What can change scope, timing and investment

  • Deduplicated records and full texts
  • Included studies, outcomes and designs
  • Comparability and statistical complexity
  • Languages, article access and target deadline
  • Revision rounds and journal requirements

Frequently asked questions

Before we start

Clear answers before any proposal or commitment.

01Can every topic be meta-analyzed?

No. It depends on the question, available studies and clinical, methodological and statistical comparability. A review can still be valuable without quantitative synthesis.

02What is included?

Scope may include the question and protocol, search, selection, extraction, risk of bias, synthesis, manuscript, supported submission and one first reviewer-response round, as contracted.

03What is the authors’ role?

To take part in intellectual decisions, critically review, approve milestones and remain accountable for submitted content.

04How long does it take?

It depends on record volume, full-text access, study designs, analysis complexity and author response time. Timing is set in the proposal.

05How is pricing defined?

After human assessment, based on volume, complexity, timing, languages, analyses and deliverables. V1 has no public fixed price.

06Is publication guaranteed?

No. The journal and reviewers decide. We commit to the agreed scope and process quality.

07Who decides which studies to include?

Researchers define eligibility criteria in the protocol. Reviewers apply them, resolve disagreements and document reasons for exclusion.

08How is my data protected?

We collect only what is needed for screening. Do not send identifiable patient data. Non-contracted leads default to 180-day retention after the last interaction.

Initial assessment

After you submit, our team reviews your field of interest or project and gets in touch to discuss the next step.

It takes about 4 minutes. The response is human and submission does not imply engagement.

Question 1 of 7

Let’s find your next step.

You do not need a PICO question or meta-analysis experience to get started.

Where are you starting from?

Choose the closest option. We adapt the screening to your moment.
